Description

Every now and again, it's great to be reminded that this is not only a great hobby, but that CAF has some great people in it.

I'm about to embarrass fellow CAF-er Carlos Lising mightily, but all I can say is, suck it up fella, you earned it! :)

Knowing that I'm a fan of Phil Jimenez, but that he usually doesn't do UK conventions (Roll on February 2012 though!) Carlos attended the Mid Ohio con (driving quite a ways to get there) and came out with only one piece of art, and it wasn't even for himself, but for ME! How absurdly cool is that?

On top of that, it's also Phil's first time drawing Cypher and Warlock, not that you'd know to look at it because isn't is terrific?!

Based on this sample (and knowing that he's a fan of the original Hellions) I would LOVE to see him get a crack at the New Mutants sometime, wouldn't you?

So again, thank you Carlos, this piece means a whole lot to me!

Such a fantastic-looking piece! I remember telling Mr. Jimenez, while he was working on it, that Doug's never looked better...and it's so true! I'm so glad that he and Warlock have a home with such a great guy!!! :D

The way he added Warlock in the background takes this piece to a whole new level. Congrats!
