My good friend Damon Owens was telling me about this great commission that he'd gotten from Chris based on this Brotherhood series and I just couldn't resist asking for something myself. I ran 3 or 4 different ideas by him and this was the one that he was really excited by. A coupla prelim sketches flew by and voilà! this great piece arrived in my inbox.
Actually, the idea came from this old
Justice Machine cover and the idea that Kirby's DC characters really do feel like they fit in Marvel's world as opposed to DC's. So this was me asking Chris to re-image OMAC as one of Zola's WWII ideas. And he came through in spades. Love Zola's face here and how he changed the layout to give everyone room.
