Terry Beatty - Marvel Two in One 76 pg 01 Reinterpretation Commission (Inked) - Monster on the Midway

Some splashes have interstellar space armadas. Some have armies poised to wage all-out war. And some go a different, more minimalistic direction.

This commission was drawn by the amazing Terry Beatty. Everything was completed in one month. Terry sent a prelim and scans of the pencils as he went along. Great communication, as per usual.

I was very pleased Terry picked the splash page to re-do... you can't have a comic book without page 1, but getting artists to buy in to the idea of drawing 'normal' people walking across a carnival midway was proving to be a challenge.

I particularly like the character and expressions that Terry has brought out in the background figures as they gawk at the Thing, Alicia Masters and Bill Foster (aka Giant Man II).
