Description
Drawing for the strip which ran on January 31, 1947. The plaid pattern on the coat is hand-drawn. It's easy to see what kind of unnecessary details Bushmiller would eliminate later, but he's got a nice rhythm going from panel to panel already. Sluggo still retains his "urban" accent.
