Description

At last, a Romita Spidey page within financial reach of those of us who aren't named Rockefeller. "Heroes and Legends" was a Stan Lee-scripted 1996 one-off pointlessly revisiting FF Annual #3.
Remember when Spider-man saved Hawkeye from being crushed by a falling safe? Remember when a falling safe was all we really had to worry about in life?

The one redeeming feature of this four-color dumpster fire was new artwork from John and Sal Buscema, John Romita, Steve Ditko, Gene Colan, Marie Severin, Tom Palmer, Joe Sinnott, Terry Austin, etc.
Terry Austin lightboxed these pencils for his inked version (see additional images).
