Daring Mystery Comics #3 –5 (April 1940- June 1940)

Constructed by aliens from the 5th dimension as a tool to attack and enslave humankind, the powerful and nearly indestructible Marvex rebels against his evil creators and kills them. The resulting explosion when their laboratory is destroyed hurls the robot man across the dimensions to Earth. Shortly after his arrival he rescues Clara Crandall and her inventor father from a burning building. Clara's father dies from his injuries and Marvex extracts grim vengeance from the spies who killed him for secret formula for a new battleship armor. Afterward, Clara joins Marvex in his war on crime.

In their two follow-up adventures, Marvex and Clara save an innocent man from the electric chair, foiling a mass prison break along the way, and then destroy the robot army of the evil scientist Dr. Narr.
