I don't know what had me rummaging around YouTube but I stumbled across some old openings for PBS's Mystery! series from the 80's. I was a big MYSTERY! fan. Thursday night was my night with the big bowl of popcorn and Vincent Price saying, "~episode one~". I was enjoying waxing nostalgically when I remembered how well Bret channels Edward Gorey. It made perfect sense to ask him to do a scene from the opening titles featuring all my favorite detectives from when I was a kid. While Charlie Chan and Mr. Moto never made it to Mystery! I certainly wish they had. Series of the quality PBS was showing back then would've been great to watch. I really thank Bret for capturing a great slice of my youth and creating something really special. Now I only have to find some place to hang it ...

Great piece Kevin. Bret has a great style and did an amazing job on this piece.
