Description

Private Holiday Card featuring Archie characters and the buyer's 1 year old daughter and the family dog. On the wall is a portrait of the buyer's other family dog, which passed away during 2011.

Not only had I never drawn Archie before, but I still have never read an Archie comic. Google image search helped find info to draw the characters on model and in character. Despite it being well outside my normal, more illustrative range, I think this turned out pretty good.

Drawn in pen & ink, then I made a photocopy on card stock, which I painted with acrylics. The buyer recieved both the b&w and color originals.

I believe the buyer mailed out cards printed from the drawing, so I'm listing it as "Published Art".
