Carmine Infantino- Flash's Rouges' Gallery 1964

Arguably, the most important and influential artist of the early silver age, Carmine Infantino was responsible for many of the most memorable books, titles and covers of the fifties and early sixties. Not least of which is Showcase #4 re-introducing The Flash, Mystery In Space with Adam Strange and the new look Batman.

By 1964 the now iconic villains which have become synonymous with the Flash had all made appearances, resulting in this great composition in 1964’s 80 Page Flash Giant #4. This example, from our personal collection has always been one of our favorites.
