DescriptionGallo's Humor artwork published in the New York Daily News features the 'Best of New York'. Includes a parody panel of Donald Trump getting ready to buy the Yankees! Also features Jim Brown, Dave Winfield, the NY Islanders goalie, John Stearns and Basement Bertha, the trademark recurring character in Bill's strips. Gallo was the legendary cartoonist that portrayed New York sports and personalities in the pages of the NY Daily News. He died in May 2011.Social/Sharing |

Nice pickup. What is the date on that? I know it's early Eighties, because the USFL was a thing.
