DescriptionFor those who don't know, Glenn Cravath was the artist who, most famously, painted the KING KONG movie poster(and hundred of other movie posters in the 1930's-50's).A few years ago, when art from the Glenn Cravath estate was coming out, I bought a few watercolors that looked like Cravath's attempt to get work doing New Yorker covers and/or Coca-Cola advertising business. This piece looks like a Coca-Cola advertising concept with no less than 4 Coca-Cola references thoughout the piece. Pretty cool! Social/Sharing |

And with one of those "dime store Indians" which were very popular at the time but which are apparently considered racist now, yet very pricey and collectible in and of themselves these days!
