Description
This is really a "Holy Grail" for me. Alan is one of my favorite artists and he also shares my love of the very cool Jack Kirby creations: The Inhumans! So with a working title from me, and Alan's incredible talent, he produced one of my all time favorite pieces. I told him I wanted a shot of the family in the mountains outside the Great Refuge. I told him I was inspired by an old story from Amazing Adventures when The Mandrain sent soldiers to investigate rumors of a strange city in the mountains. Of course, Black Bolt and family dispatched the soldiers before they could ever get near the people they are sworn to defend. Alan came up with this gem and I am one happy fanboy!!!

If this were any more of a holy grail, Indiana Jones would be looking for it. Congratulations!
