Beautiful illustration by Ronald McLeod, who worked at Collier's for years an even painted the cover of the issue this illo appeared in, which you can see a scan of below! The illustration accompanied the 3rd part of the serialized story "It's Loaded, Mr. Bauer" by John P. Marquand.

This piece is almost like a black and white photo. It's an Awesome piece of art.

I remember considering putting a bid on this back in the day - It's got a great feel to it -very noir and cool - I ended up going after something else, but I'm glad it found it's way to you : )
