Description

Kipling McCay surrounded by all his monstrous adversaries in Bisley montage fashion. The final painted version was published on page 12 of the Cryptid preview comic - which I've included as an additional image. Some of the creatures depicted are St. George, Yeti, and the Lochness monster. On the back of the prelim is another rendition of Kipling McCay that was probably abandoned in favor of the montage.

If anyone knows any more about this project and whether or not it still might see the light of day, please let me know as I think it's a fantastic concept!

As far as I know, the primary interior artist for the first graphic novel was Alex Horley. There are a bunch of layouts by Alex in the preview book. I believe that the Biz, Mignola, and Frazetta were brought on only as cover artists. But, then again, I could be wrong. -I'm still itching to find out if this project is still in the works!
