Description

From the now defunct DC Comics, a fun cover featuring 2 Silver Age legends battling. Then again maybe not so fun, as it was part of the historic "Death Of Iris" storyline. In which the Flash, already grieving for his deceased wife, was dosed with Angel Dust causing him to attack those closest to him. Ground Breaking stuff in it's day. Although perhaps Barry Allen was merely upset with Hal Jordan over the quality of last year's Green Lantern motion picture :)

One of my personal Flash grails. Although cover dated Feb 1980, as was the standard for decades, the issue came out 3 months prior. I remember the exact Nov 1979 day as a young child I got the issue off the stands.

Congrats on obtaining the grail piece! This was the first Flash comic my parents bought me (so it's a grail to me too). Thanks for putting up a scan so I can check it out

Wow! This was a alluring cover when I originally saw it on the newsstands, and it looks even better in black and white. We are all fortunate you decided to post this on CAF. it must look even better in person. Congrats.
