Description

Though not the trademark Sal Buscema Hulk, I love how he was drawn with a more animalistic look, reflecting that the Hulk had completely reverted to his savage state.

This page was my first "classic" pages and I must say, it is a huge shame that modern art no longer displays the dialogue and narration.

I hear you! Buscema and Taloc really brought out the savage in the Hulk. He looked old, weathered, and actually wiser, which in my mind, made him more savage and dangerous than ever!

Wonderful page. I could not agree more, it is a shame and for me it makes the modern pages far less interesting.

That was a great period for Sal as well as his earlier period run. Talaoc was just another perfect inker fo Sal, just like Joe Staton and Klaus Janson were perfect inkers in the '70s. Sal was always versatile and adapted his lines. Lovely page - great poses and fantastical landscapes. Great find!
