Description

This is one of the most interesting pieces I have. I ran across it back at a 1994 Howard Lowery auction and just snapped it up. It's not an original, but it's so unique, significant, ironic, and rare... I just had to post it. In late 1967 the powers that be at WB decided to replace Bugs Bunny with Cool Cat and Merlin the Magic Mouse! That's right up there with McLean Stevenson leaving MASH, Suzanne Somers bailing on Three's Company, and Brian Dunkleman exiting American Idol! I bough it framed and penciled on the back is "1968" which makes sense as that's when the announcement would have been displayed at Theaters.
