Description

I'd heard from my bud Fred that Tone was open for commissions and I knew that I couldn't pass up that opportunity. I'd seen the Titans and X-Men group sketches that he'd done here on CAF and ~loved~ them.

I'd originally planned only getting one thing from him, the Nerfaria piece, but that turned out so well that I was bad (my credit card is still screaming) and asked him to do another. An idea that had been rolling around in my head for a while. Just waiting for the right artist to connect to. Based on the covers to those old Marvel Handbooks it's the Official Handbook of the Marvel Universe, 70's style. You've got Rom, Deathlok the Demolisher, Omega the Unknown, Spider-Woman, Wonder Man, Bug (from the Micronauts), Warlock, Torpedo and Ghost Rider. Fabulous work from Tone here. Deathlok hasn't looked this good since the 70's and the detail on Warlock's face is ~great~. Plus there was the unexpectedly cool Keith Giffen vibe to Bug. -And- it's a double page spread so you get to see everyone in all their glory. A big thanks to Tone for turning out some great, great work here.
