Love these classic Bronze Age horror books. Some great artwork by the likes of Val, Gene Colan, and Mike Ploog. This is a great page! Congrats!

This is an absolutely beautiful image of the Mummy. Ever since I saw this page of yours, I have paid closer attention to the works of Val Mayerik and wondered how I could have overlooked him as an artist before. Perhaps his work hasn't always been consistently good but this Mummy page is Mayerik at his A game and at this level, I feel he could challenge the Gulacys, Starlins and Ploogs.
