Description

This was done by Daniel "Dan" Leister, best known for his work on Zenescope's "Grimm Fairy Tales" books as well as Tim Seeley's "Hack / Slash" series.

I met him at the 2012 Image Expo in Oakland, CA and he was going to do this commission for me at the show, but opted to take it home and play with it a bit. He kept on embelishing it, from pencils to inks, then markers and then copic styled tones.

I'm gonig to display the evolution of this piece from the 3 stages he showed me as his work in progress.

Daniel Leister is a great artist and a prime example of a professional artist who communicates properly with his fans regarding the commissions showing layouts and progression and providing status updates.

This has more tones added and I think he added the final touches, this is the actual art that i received, so people can compare and also see the photograph of the artwork and how nice it looks as a presentation piece on the comic art board too.
