Sure
Mike Grell has done lots of great books, but I remember him most for The LSH and The Warlord.
This lovely Pen & Ink drawing had been at my LCS for a year when I bought it framed and took the photo that used to represent it on the CAF (preserved in the Additional Images). They'd acquired it from the estate of a Houston OA collector.
In 2012, I finally broke down and bought it, but I've never liked the frame. It's pretty, but not my style. I keep my frames pretty simple - black with a double mat. White on top and a bit of color below it, but not much. Because I didn't want to hang it, it was in a closet most of the time. I finally decided to unframe it and scan it.
Wow! It looks a lot better. I'd forgotten how pretty it is.
Per
Scott Kress of Catskill Comics, it was done in about August of 2008. As Stephen Legge pointed out on FB, it was clearly based on Warlord #116's cover (see Additional Images). Stephen also pointed out that it was on Scott's website.
