Story and Breakdowns by illustrator Tom Biondolillo, with pencils and finishes by Laval Ng. Mr. Ng lives on the island of Mauritius (east of Madagascar for you geography buffs) in the Indian Ocean. Somehow, he and Tom became friends, and collaborated on this story for Caliber Press.

Very cool when you can find out something like this. This story, and particularly this page is based on this excerpt from the epic poem below. Note the text, and you can see how Tom Biondolillo used it almost as a storyboard, including the last line, "And if I fall, cleave to the better man."
