If you're looking at this champion of the Golden Age and asking yourself, "Who's the guy in the dress?," well, it just goes to show what you know. Its not a dress, its a TOGA. Get it right.

Bouncer: 1944, The Bouncer #11 (Fox). Sculptor Adam Antaeas, Jr. creates a statue of the Greek "god" Antaeus that magically comes to life when danger threatens. When that happens both Adam and the statue possess super-strength and the ability to bounce like a rubber ball, knocking opponents out. Llike the mythical Antaeus who was vulnerable when separated from the earth, the duo are vulnerable when in mid-bounce.
Me again: Yep, this guy basically used his super-strong legs to, well, not actually bounce so much as leap from place to place like the Hulk does. Its never addressed as to whether he wears any underwear beneath his toga. Let's face it -- as bad as the thought of the previous entrant in this gallery, Speed Centaur, dropping a horse load on an opponent from up high, the idea of looking up and seeing The Bouncer's junk coming towards your face at Mach-5 has got to be even more intimidating. He briefly starred in his own comic, only to disappear into the mists of comics history never to be seen again -- until now.
