lovely pages but they would look about 500 times better if all the frames matched. Plus the wooden book ends are screaming 1950's. Renovations are in order. Your beautiful artwork deserves better.

Nice bookcases - often the older ones are too short to be useful but yours are tall!

That quartersawn oak frame on the far right is fantastic, and fits the time period of the St John art perfectly. Bravo.

Bravo.I saw that frame and the matte at a church basement sale well over a decade ago, and they suited the St. John perfectly in my mind. They had been used on an old religious print, probably put up on a church basement Sunday School classroom wall about the same time as St. John drew the double-truck illustration.
