Description

This is a close up photograph of the bottom of the two watercolors in the first (and primary) framed setup of art given as a Christmas gift by George Herriman in 1940. It shows Mrs. Kwakk Wakk, a later character in the Krazy Kat comic strip who tended to not mind her own business. The watercolor is inscribed in red ink or watercolor, "HERRIMAN "O" XMAS . 1940 .
