"Mist" by Stella Im Hultberg

This gorgeous piece titled "Mist" is by Stella Im Hultberg. I had been looking for just the right piece by Stella for some time. All of the pieces that I had seen by her were either not quite what I was looking for, more then I felt comfortable paying for a piece or sold before I found them. When I saw this piece in the preview for the Synergy Show at Thinkspace Gallery I immediately fell in love with it. Looking at the piece I just felt connected to her. I was sure that the piece was going to sell during the show but it didn't, so I contacted the gallery to see if they would do time payments on the piece. Lucky for me they said they would so I decided I would pick it up as a birthday present to myself. When I called Andrew to work out the payment he said that he was also surprised that it had not sold. He said he had been talking to some other customers that had bought other pieces and they thought the piece had already sold so I guess I was meant to have this beautiful piece.


To me this is the perfect example of Stella's work. I love the look on her face. When I look into her eyes I just can't help but feel connected to her. The emotion on her face is just so strong. I am thrilled to finally have a fantastic piece by Stella in the collection. It was a long wait for the right piece but I definitely made the right choice getting "Mist".
