Funny story. I was bidding on a very cool Ken Macklin piece at a Sci Fi convention art auction and the price was getting steep. I turned around to see who was running me up and realized it was Frank Robinson; coauthor of the Towering Inferno and a number of other classic books, foremost collector of classic pulps, and a personal friend. Needless to say I dropped out of the bidding and Frank won the piece.

A few months later this showed up in the mail. Frank commissioned Ken to do a similar piece and sent it to me. Thank you Frank.
