Cosmic Crossover (Sept 1980)
Double page spread, pages 2-3

This great double page spread depicts the periodic meeting of super-heroes from parallel worlds, in the giant Trophy Room of Freedom's Stronghold before all the action happens.

See Additional Image #1 for the character IDs. Chances are if you don't recognize them, they are from the Standard Comics Universe (i.e. public domain, or mine, or Captain Canuck)

Yes, going to the well (Cosmic Crossover) one more time for something a bit opposite to the great cover - the sedate non-action of the actual get together of these nifty beings. So, a bunch of super-heroes from DC, Marvel, Standard, ... and the Shield.

I swear I only have one more potential drawing from this thing.

Eagle-eyed viewers (Kevin?) will note the addition of statues/dummies of Iron Man, Emulex and the alien, Utaalk to the room.

Inspired by the opening splash of JLA #195 (Image 2).

As always, Mitch Ballard rocks on the details. I hope his eyes are OK.

Props to Kevin Moorhead for the assist.

Apologies to those who prefer their heroes to be at each others' throats during the best of times, but sometimes I like Batman to smile and stuff.
