Description

This page was one of my very first acquisitions. I had hunted for over a year and alas - no luck in locating any original pages from Amazing Spiderman by John Romita. Then, I got a call out of nowhere from a very sympathetic dealer who decided to give me the pick of the litter from his stash of ASM 63 pages. And this is the one I selected. Oddly enough, my favorite panel in this page is the old Vulture working in his lab on his wings.

One of my favorite period pieces! Love the tag team approach and Romita/Heck's ability to capture the bar hammer hold with the Sunday punch! Big Time Wrestling never depicted a fight scene so memorably!
