Description

8 1/2" x 13" hard paper store sign used by magazine sellers to promote the latest issue of Good Housekeeping Magazine and acting as pre release publicity by the Disney Studio for the upcoming cartoon. Unfortunate or not , the cartoon film was shelved and reappeared as the almost completely changed SOCIETY DOG SHOW which was published in color on one page of the February 1939 issue . One vignette from THE DOG SHOW page made it into Jean Ayers story for the D. C. Heath storybook, "Donald Duck and His Friends "(1939) p28.
