Wow, big congrats on picking up two excellent Buscema/Marcos Avengers pages! I thought these might be headed your way. So many cool characters on this page--I love it! Thanks for sharing, Kirk!

i really like this page- besides seeing a fistful of characters drawn superbly by our pal sal buscema, it set the stage for the vision/wonder man battle two issues later, an issue my brother and i both loved.

Great example of S Buscema storytelling, I love the half shot of the Vision in the middle panel - so dramatic!

I should have commented on this page long ago, but I am the sultan of procrastination. Dr. Doom battling the Avengers was a great match-up. While I did not particularly care for how this great arc ended with the Attuma/Sub-Mariner cross-over from issues 154, 155, 156, and SVTU 9, it did expose me to great art with Perez pencilling issues 154 and 155, Buscema with this issue, and Shooter, of all people, pencilling SVTU 9 (try finding a page from that issue!), This issue did show how well Marcos could ink Sal Buscema's pencils. Your quest continues to get closer to completion.
