Description

For some reason, the engraving of Adam's Pale Ale which was used on the title page of the hand-colored edition of Hunt's Comic Sketches was not colored. All other lithographs in the volume, including the plate based on the same watercolor, were colored. Again, this page from the book is only known through the copy held in the print room of the Victoria and Albert Museum, London.
