Descriptiondont get me wrong, i dig how this turned out and i certainly appreciate every ones efforts but i think i was hoping to capture some of that gritty appeal that made the first 15 or so issues of the original mirage tmnt comics so awesome. i think the combination of color, differing styles and artists using google image for reference pics really steals some of that grit. i know the stories and the characters represented so i can see them in those issues but i think a new comer (post 1987) might wonder why all the turtles have raphaels mask on. i suppose my only real regrets are not having enough room for a vw bus police chase or a zombie viking horde :) some of my favorite tmnt characters somewhat left to right: rachael-donitello-michaelangelo and tmnt tag: nathan stockman/ federat bot: steve willhite/ baxter stockman and mousers: scott zambelli/ cerebus: tone rodriguez/ shredder: brent schoonover/ bloodsucker: grant gould/ romero savanti: jesse labbe/ foot ninjas: jim kyleSocial/Sharing |
