This page, which is part of a 3 page sequence, shows Zayne chasing after Jarael, after she is 'attacked' by a former slave that Zayne just freed. Zayne misreads Jarael's emotions and assumes that her facial markings mean that she was a former slave. She, however, admits that the markings mean something else... that she was in fact a slaver.

I love character pages. I dont mind splashes and action sequences but this, THIS is what I love about comics. The emotions, the emotional twists, these interactions. And I have a soft spot for Zayne and Jarael and this page is such an important part in their relationship.
