BWS might be a snob but theres truth in his words. Liefelds Captain America was one of his many crimes against comics. I could go on for hours about his stock posed, badly drawn stuff. Others love it but how much artwork  outside of comics, have they looked at? Very little. Deadpool. His one redeeming contribution. Not scowling caricature, Cable.

Yes, I'm always flummoxed by his continued popularity.    But what I dread more is that I know someday I will have to add a Liefeld example to my collection, just for representation.  When he first came on to the scene, he was just copying Art Adams, so I could almost understand why those books sold.  And when X-Force #1 sold a gazillion copies, I chalked it up to being a 1st issue new X-title.  But when he went to Image and started to sell all those horrible books there, I just didn't get that at all.  But hey, to each his own.  It's your  money, buy whatever you want.
