One of my bigger comic art regrets has been selling a nice page from the Salem witch trials storyline in Marvel Team-Up several years ago.

I went for a pretty darn nice page from this storyline that Scott Eder had on eBay recently, but I ended up as one of the underbidders. Then this page came up for auction, and I liked it even more. I went all out and am happy to have won it.

I remember reading these comics with a neighbor kid when I was around 7 years old. I think Sal Buscema and Mike Esposito were especially inspired on this story, and Bill Mantlo assembled a great bunch of heroes and baddies to mix it up. I especially disliked Cotton Mather, and it is great to see him get smacked down by Dr. Doom here.

I read this comics around the same age. I loved this story. Now (because of us?) it is a classic!

Late, late congrats on this score. Finding pages from this storyline are not easy. I loved this four issue sequence with ASM/Scarlet Witch/Vision/Dr. Doom to name a few. Finding pages after this issue from MTU 44 is next to impossible based on my experience.
