Description

This 11X17 page of original inked art is unpublished as it was intended for Marvel's DESTROYERS series written by Fred Van Lente that was cancelled before it debuted in 2012. The art for issue one was completed by penciler Kyle Hotz and inker Don Ho. From issue two Kyle designed the pages but only rendered a few of them before the rug was pulled, not allowing Don to ink them. Kyle sent Bob Almond the page one splash to ink over blueline and use as a portfolio page for getting work together. This image shows what appears to be a flashback scene of the mighty Destroyer (who would become the group leader) attacking a group of nazis from World War 2. The art is signed by Bob Almond and donated by Kyle and Bob to the Inkwell Awards.
