I love Thunderstrike. I liked all of the Marvel 2 stuff, except for J2. ANext, Spidergirl, and Dark Devil I really liked. When I finally met Ron at the Pittsburgh Comic Con I fanboyed-out about Thunderstrike.

We talked for at least a half hour. There was no line, and he didn't seem annoyed. At one point Mr. Tom DeFalco joined in on the conversation with Steve Olliffe, and I asked would you guys ever get the band back together and do another Thunderstrike? He said something like "Well, the mace is still out there, and if I can get an editor at Marvel to not laugh after I mention the name Thunderstrike..." This was some time around 2000.

When they did the latest mini series, were Kevin gets the mace, I was the first to buy it, and the only one at my store with it on my pull list. The owner and I love it, and we sell the trades to new comic readers all the time. It was so much fun, and those new readers have all become regulars at the store.

Because the world still needs heroes...
