Description

After getting the Bob McLeod Cypher, what could be more natural than getting one from the artist who took over the title's art chores from him and proceeded to make it one of the most extraordinary looking titles that Marvel ever released.

Bill was an absolute joy, creating (Having seen him work, "sketching" is a woefully inadequate term) until they rang the bell to close the convention, and I couldn't be happier with this strange, almost dreamlike image of Doug Ramsey and Warlock.

My rather old scanner doesn't do it many favours alas, but trust me, this is exceptional!

I loved the idea of the melding of the two characters back when Claremont and Sienkiewicz were doing NM. This illustration is a great homage to that relationship between the out-of-place living machine alien and the man whose brain could unlock everything.
