Great page from the Silver Age revival of Hawkman (Katar Hol) and Hawkgirl (Shayera Hol) from The Brave and the Bold #34, published in February-March 1961. An amazing piece of DC history. And Joe loved drawing dinosaurs, so it's cool to have a scene set in the museum with a T-Rex skeleton on display.SYNOPSIS: Katar and his wife Shayera, police officers from the planet Thanagar, come to Earth in pursuit of a shape shifting criminal from their world. Police Commissioner Emmett helps them to establish secret identities, and after they have succeeded in their mission, helps convince them to stay on Earth. Social/Sharing |
