First Silver Age appearance of Hawkman! Great page from the Silver Age revival of Hawkman (Katar Hol) and Hawkgirl (Shayera Hol) from The Brave and the Bold #34, published in February-March 1961. An amazing piece of DC history. And Joe loved drawing dinosaurs, so it's cool to have a scene set in the museum with a T-Rex skeleton on display.

SYNOPSIS: Katar and his wife Shayera, police officers from the planet Thanagar, come to Earth in pursuit of a shape shifting criminal from their world. Police Commissioner Emmett helps them to establish secret identities, and after they have succeeded in their mission, helps convince them to stay on Earth.
