I am really bowled over by this one. Mitch was offering two-character commissions for a very reasonable price and I bought one with something else in mind, which I rejected as too cliche. Then, I recalled losing out on the Betty and Veronica Slumber Party and got the image of Medusa and Godiva having their own where they'd do things like brush their hair with their hair. That's what I suggested and he went whole hog.

This is the best commission experience I've had in a long time. The detail is exquisite. He's managed to communicate that this is Medusa in her New York apartment with background details, like the pictures on the walls. Technically, this is a five-character piece, the two girls, Black Bolt, Spider Man and Jack Kirby.

I'm impressed with his talent. Everything is done right and sharp down to the image of Medusa's face in the mirror being at the proper perspective. Unlike most artists, he manages to give the two women lovely and distinguishable faces that look like real people rather than stereotypes. I don't know anything about him professionally except that he worked on JLA Avengers. I think he's up to doing anything.
