This is a great "what could have been" or "what if". The Claremont/Byrne/Austin X-Men from issues 108-143 versus the Shooter/Byrne/Marcos Avengers from issues 164-166. Who would have won? It is my opinion that Byrne inking Byrne is not as great as Marcos or Austin inking Byrne. Regardless, you have a most impressive commission.
