Wolverine And Spider-man In The Sewers...

Here is a commission I did for my buddy Blair based on one of his favorite images of Wolverine. He wanted a beaten Spider-man added to the scene as well, so I threw Spidey in with Wolverine holding him up in the raging waters. Is he helping him, or his he getting ready to deliver the final blow? I guess that's totally up to whether you see Wolvie as a friend or a cold blooded killer! I go for the latter, but that's just me...

On a side note, as most of you know, for the past three to four years I have been battling a serious eye problem resulting from a severely scratched cornea in my left eye. I suffer from a problem called Recurrent Corneal Erosion, which is never going to heal correctly, and will flare up from time to time, unless I have surgery to fix it. What this problem is, is after I suffered the scratched cornea, my eye will not heal properly as the scar tissue cannot adhere to my slick eyeball well enough to heal properly. Because of this, every once in a while, as I sleep, my eyelid adheres to the scar tissue and rips it off when I open my eye in the morning. Needless to say this is excrutiating and causes me to have pain for a few days, and blurred vision for days, even weeks, depending on the severity. Well, this is beginning to happen more frequently and has occurred 4 times in the past 7 weeks. The last incident which occurred Tuesday morning was the worst yet and drove me to the emergency room at 2 am Tuesday night / Wednesday morning. Upon visiting my regular eye doctor Wednesday morning, I was told that my cornea was now 1/3 scar tissue, the worst yet, and I am having an interview with a cornea specialist / surgeon next Friday to set up a time and place for the surgery to take place. The procedure has been described as taking a lot of needles and roughing up the eyeball surface under the scar tissue so it can attach and heal properly. Sort of like getting a tattoo on your eye with the small needles. Sounds horrible, but I simply can't go on the rest of my life afraid of waking up.
All that being said, I have listed a few commission spots on eBay in hopes of raising some money to help pay for the procedure. I have no health insurance and have been unable to do any real work in over a month now, so I am trying to earn some cash to help out. These commissions will be done as soon as I have the surgery and recovery time (usually around 2 weeks), so if you are interested at all, please check those auctions out.
