Well, the CAF seller had 2 pages from this awesome run...and the other was personalized to "Mark" so I thought that one was for me - but alas, it was not to be...

But I am A-ok, this page really is growing on me!

1. Cover scene (sort of)
2. A cool tortoise
3. Swamp thing
4. Abby in a wet T-shirt with the typical editing mistake...so

A cononundrum...do I get the page restored to remove the white out so carefully placed in the last 2 panels - feel free to place your vote in a comment

How is it that I am the first to comment on this exquisite page? I have to congratulate you on your fine pick up too Mark. Nicest pages to surface in a long while. Yours is the cover scene!

I think the "to Mark" page is stealing all the 'Love...but appreciate you helping the page not feel too poorly. Someone had good taste!

Gorgeous page Mark! Wise to keep it in its published state. Knowing John's attention to detail ;] it might be worth a try putting it on a lightbox. Congrats!

God, the editing note is hilarious. Hit the nipple delete button. Then again, all heroes in their skintight costumes are nippleless. Nipples are the gateway to sin!! They must be erased. Remember the Robin, Bolland statue cover? Comics are really funny. The major problem with restoring the nipple bumps is that the stupid blue lines and notes would still be there. Goddam censorship. The comics code sucked. Its also funny that the note written by the editor is blue non repro pencil. Blue for blue stuff. Lol.

Such a sweet page! Moore, bissette and Totleben could really balance the horror with these marvellous tender moments. Gorgeous.
