LOVE this piece, Gene! It's simply stunning. You are a true master of shading and the use of positive/negative space here is most striking. By the way, I cannot tell you how glad I am to hear you're back - and evidently better than ever because you've managed to outdo yourself. I'm looking forward as always to seeing what other beautiful work you have up your sleeve.
