This final painting in oils on Illustration board was among the earliest of Rowena's commissions (she started in the field in 1980) and it demonstrates the reason she became so successful an illustrator in the science fiction and fantasy genre.

Cannot help but love the vision in 1980 of what a a futuristic computer should look like. Amazing how art and technology have been intertwined over the century's. What will historians in the future say regarding this fabulous painting?
