Nate Stockman has drawn me
a ton of commissions, and he knocks it out of the park every single time. The guy is just too talented. When I was thinking of different Legionnaires for this little theme of multiple versions one character, Nate was of course one of the artists I knew I'd have to commission. I was actually thinking about Shadow Lass for his character, and then he mentioned her as a possibility when I brought up the theme with him, so, great minds and all that! Anyway, after a bit of reference gathering from me, Nate went all out and drew a
Legion of Shadow Lasses.
I’ve always liked Tasmia Mallor, in every version of the Legion. She had cool powers and fighting skills, and took no crap off of anyone. I remember her winning her Legion membership after she helped them fight the Fatal Five, even though she had a broken arm at the time. And she's had a ton of great costumes (and at least one horrible one) through the years. My favorites are probably the post-Zero Hour costumes, but they're almost all pretty cool. Nate did a fabulous job here, making each Shady look tough as nails. I also really like how he has a lot of them displaying their darkness powers, because their opponents won't even be able to see how much their butts are gonna be kicked. As usual, I cannot thank Nate enough for the work he puts into these incredible commissions.
