Description
Typhoid Mary/Daredevil page by the great team of Lee Weeks and Al Williamson. From the "Last Rites" storyline (Marvel, 1991). A few years later I stopped reading and collecting comics altogether. However, I enjoyed Lee Weeks' run on DD and decided to depart from my resolution to not buy any more superhero art.

Provenance: Bought directly from Lee Weeks in 2013. An incredibly nice person to deal with.

I saw this and thought exactly that. What's he doing buying super hero art? But it IS a very nice page. I always enjoy seeing an artist navigate the visual of rain. It's pretty tricky, and I would assume, painstaking. And if not done well, it could just look like a mess. That's certainly not the case here.

Weeks and Williamson make great art together. I think this page could weaken anyone's resolve to not buy super-hero art. Congrats, Lars!

Lee Weeks had one of the most memorable runs with DD especially the issues from 297-300 (Last Rites). Anything from that run is amazing and you got one of the best pages with every panel getting more intense. He is also one of the best at drawing Typhoid. Congrats My Friend on this excellent page.

Great page. Very good story-telling, and artwork. Is it just me, or is there a John Romita Sr. influence here as far as the layout goes?
