Description
1999 was the year Eileen and I moved from St. Louis to San Francisco and as a result my comic book buying took a drastic (if temporary) downturn. As such I was not in on the ground floor for The Authority.

But Holy Pete-!, was it a lot of fun getting caught up. I enjoyed the Millar/Quitely/Scott run that followed but personally favor the Ellis/Hitch/Neary story arcs that started it all.

I bought this from Migs De Castro, who rates a perfect ten in the field of artwork delivery and thanks also to Malvin V for the assist.

Authority (and the Stormwatch intro) by Ellis, Hitch and Neary is one of my all-time fave books - congrats on acquiring this beauty!

One of the - if not THE - finest covers in the Ellis/Hitch/Neary run.
