This is one of four pages I recently picked up in a package deal, and while it was the most expensive of the four, it's definitely the nicest as well. And when I say "most expensive," I don't mean it was particularly pricey. For what I got, it's a steal.

What's amazing about this page -- depicting the Flash and Captain Atom dealing with Middle Eastern violence at super-speeds -- is that artist Freddie Williams II didn't use any stats. From what I can see, he redrew the gun and hand pulling the trigger over and over again in each panel. If you look closely at the scan, you can see minute differences from panel to panel. It's a painstaking effort on display. Furthermore, his experimentation with inks, using a gold tone to convey the Flash's speed/lightning effects, is interesting as well.

I also love the page because I'm a fan of team-up comics as well, and this issue seemed as though it was crafted in the tradition of the old The Brave and the Bold and DC Comics Presents comics.

What was also a treat is while I got this as part of a lot from a comic art dealer, this page by itself was shipped directly to me from the artist. I always love getting art directly from the source.
